A boss' wholesome gesture for her employee gets a whole lot of love from people on the internet.

A lucky employees with the Reddit handle u/dijay0823 recently shared a post revealing just how wholesome his boss is, and it has become quite popular, with 1.1K upvotes and 24 comments on the site.
The post contained the photo of a note from the man's boss, Liz, addressed to his son, Archer. She started by thanking the boy for helping his dad go through the "demo scripts." She wrote, "I know how boring they are. As a big thank you, here are some fun books to help you get to your reading goal for the year." The man provided a more elaborate explanation of the incident in the post's caption.
He revealed how his boss had asked him to go through some important paperwork for an upcoming project. The man jokingly mentioned how it would make for a "fun weekend activity" to go through it with his son. He shared, "for context, my wife and I have set a goal to read him 1000 books in 2024. We joked that the paperwork should count as ten books, we chuckled and moved on." The man came in for work after the weekend and was shocked to find the note, along with a few books at his desk.
He wrote, "The fact that she cared enough to not only buy the books but to write this adorable note genuinely made me smile. It's these small details that make her the best boss I have ever had." They had achieved a major milestone of developing 20 million square feet of office, flex/R&D, retail and warehouse space in eight states towards the end of 2019. The project started all the way back in 2005, and they had to face a lot of difficulties to make the project a reality. Recognizing all of the hard work that his employees put in, the founder publicly announced a whopping $10 million bonus for all his 198 employees during the company's holiday party. The bonus would be paid out to employees based on their years of service, with most of them getting almost $50,000, according to the official press release.
