What happened to the boss after he ordered his employees to ignore the fire drill is downright hilarious.

Adults go through a series of life challenges and for many, one of them is dealing with a toxic boss. Not all managers or bosses understand their employees' concerns and they are simply driven towards just one goal and that is, to meet the business targets. This story is about one such inconsiderate boss and it has been shared by entrepreneur and TikTok content creator Ben Askins as part of his "Worst Bosses" series. Askins reads the messages sent by the boss asking his employees to work through a fire drill and people are not having it.

The boss, Harry, sent a message to his employees, "Hi all, at 10:59 this morning there is going to be a fire drill." However, the information was not to warn the employees but to ask them to ignore the fire alarm. "Ordinarily, we would go out with the rest of the company and run the usual drill. However, because we are so far off this month's target, I expect you all to ignore this and keep working," the boss explained. From the boss' perspective, all that mattered was how lagging they were at meeting the targets and skipping this drill could be "the difference between victory and defeat." He instructed the workers to keep taking their work calls and not heed the blaring alarm

Things became more hilarious when Harry's instructions reached the upper management. The boss sent a follow-up message, saying, "I have just been told by the upper management that this is not allowed. And so, what I want to ask is, who ratted me out?" Askins cracked up reading the message from the boss, who then gave his employees a day's time to confess who "betrayed" him. He was ready to take it out on the whole team if no one confessed. Also, he threatened the person who complained to the upper management that they would be held accountable if the monthly target wasn't met.

Askins couldn't hold back laughter about how dramatic and hilarious the boss' message was. He said he had a faint idea of what kind of personality he must be. "I just know straight away that he has no women employees in his team. He has an insane amount of gym selfies, wears t-shirts that are way too tight and just goes around loving 'The Wolf of Wall Street,'" Askins presumed. The entrepreneur then pointed out how it was mandatory by law to have and respect the fire drill and that it gets too disruptive to take calls during the drill. With over 1.1 million views, the video left many users in disbelief over how unreasonable the boss was.

"The actual point of a fire drill is to make sure that everyone exits the building and they record the time it takes. They even empty the washrooms. How did he think they would be allowed to stay in?" questioned @betina_crax. "I guarantee this guy would tell you to stay at your desk because the actual fire is on the opposite side of the building," quipped @isavin_. "And by 'defeat' he means he won't get his bonus," added @spike.ecks. A lot of people wanted to know if someone again complained about the threat to the upper management and what happened to the boss next.
