Biker's wholesome gesture after seeing the 'slowest police chase in history' wins over the internet

Police chases provide suspense, excitement, and thrill. Nobody expects to chance upon a chase by police only to find it a walk-in-the-park kind of situation. But that is exactly what happened with a biker, who goes by @harveyridesbikes on TikTok. While on his bike, he witnessed what he called the "slowest police chase in history." At first, the biker thought that the police car was in chase of a vehicle in front of it. He figured out that was not the case when both the vehicles went their separate ways. He decided to ask the policeman the reason behind this weird chase. The reply was not only sweet but prompted a heartwarming exchange.

The video starts with the biker showing a police vehicle "following" another car. He said, "What is going on here? Are they pulling over the car?" Then he notes something strange. The "police car was just cruising at 20mph." In such situations, police cars are tearing down the road in pursuit of their goal, but this one was just making it down the street as if absorbing its beauty. The creator thought he should record the whole thing because of how peculiar it was turning out to be. 

As he was covering the whole thing, he exclaimed, "Is this the slowest police chase in history?" Then, suddenly, the police car and the Audi, which it was "following," went separate ways, making the biker realize that his assumption was wrong. He figured out that the police official might have forgotten to switch off his lights and might have just been patrolling the streets. The biker approached the official in the car. He informed him, "Your lights are on. The blue lights are on." After that, the official began to push the various controls present in the car. It turns out that the controls in the car were not functioning properly. The official had to try twice to get all the blue lights to switch off.

The biker amusingly told him, "I thought you were like doing the slowest police chase." The biker then decided to make a sweet gesture for the official and offered him Haribo. Confectionaries have the power to bring an instant smile to anyone's face. It definitely worked on the official as he instantly lit after what seemed to be a very hard day. The official called the biker a "legend" and wished him a "good day."

I pulled over, got all my paperwork together, and waited 10 minutes for him to finally walk up. Officer: Hey, is everything OK? Me: I don't know why you pulled me over. Officer: Oh, sorry, forgot the lights. We both laughed and went on with our day. I was driving a commercial heavy vehicle."
