When Bryanne's mom shared the picture of her lemonade stand on Facebook, it prompted these bikers to make a visit and thank her.
In September 2019, 8-year-old Bryanne stood under the blue umbrella of her lemonade stand, dressed in a grey tunic, leggings, and slippers. As she waited for customers, she spotted a fleet of black-clad motorcyclists speeding toward her. The bikers pulled up, parked their motorcycles, and approached her stand—not just for a refreshing drink, but to express their gratitude. These riders had come to thank Bryanne’s mother, Daryn Sturch, a nurse who had once saved their lives after a devastating accident, according to Good Morning America (GMA).
A video shared by Joe Sloppy on Facebook captured the moment as 30 bikers from the Milwaukee Iron motorcycle group of Kokomo, Indiana, arrived at Bryanne’s lemonade stand. A year earlier, in September 2018, Sturch had responded to a serious accident on Indiana’s State Road 19, where five riders were critically injured. As part of the paramedics' team, she comforted and cared for three men and two women at the scene, ensuring they received the medical attention they needed.
After their recovery, some bikers reached out to Sturch on Facebook. "I just got a flood of messages from them, thanking me," Sturch told the outlet. She also shared the picture of Bryanne standing on the lemonade stand outside their home. While some people expressed interest in visiting her stand, Sturch could never imagine that a convoy of 30 bikers would jump in to thank her. "I had no idea how many there would be and they were so generous," Sturch said, per the outlet. Sturch also posted a photo of the lemonade stand on Facebook. "She was charging $1, and I bet every one of them gave a $5 or $10 or $20. [Bryanne] was as happy as she could be." As the bikers approached her house, Sturch embraced them with hugs. "They're the nicest people. I want everyone to know how amazing they are," she said.
A few days later, Sturch shared another Facebook post, thanking the kind bikers for stopping by her daughter’s stand. “Thanks to everyone who stopped by to try Bryanne’s lemonade today. Another random group of awesome bikers stopped before the Iron did, and she had lots of other customers. Thank you all so much for being so nice to her, she had a blast,” she wrote and also shared the photo of her lemonade stand covered in beautiful blue cloth and topped with jars of lemonade and juices.
On the same day, a biker named Levi Young also posted a photo on Facebook. He said, “Thanks to Daryn Sturch and family for the best damn lemonade in Indiana!” The photo was of a group of people gathered around Bryanne’s stand, probably after drinking the refreshing beverage. The story has gone viral on social media, with people tagging Bryanne’s stand as the “best lemonade in the States!”
