A wedding holds a sacred and emotional sentiment for many. For many brides, their wedding dresses are one of the most important items for the occasion. Newly-wed Victoria was out to find her dream dress which got all the more sentimental when her older brother Brad pitched in. The content creator who focuses on the need to be financially responsible and exercise frugal living shared why it's worth it in his recent post. Brad, who goes by @baddie.brad on TikTok, shared a video of him and his sister in the wedding boutique while his sister tried on her chosen wedding dress. As she was picturing herself walking down the aisle in the magnificent attire, her brother did something selflessly wonderful.

While the siblings shared an inaudible conversation, the expressions could tell something sentimental was unfolding. Brad presumably broke the news that he’d like to give his sister her wedding dress as a gift. Good Morning America shared glimpses of the duo with an interview explaining Brad’s heartwarming gesture. “I just want you to feel as beautiful as possible so this is what I want my gift to be,” said Brad. Victoria was gleaming with joy as she listened to her brother’s words and thanked him. The video then revealed that Brad had been planning the surprise for months since his sister got engaged.

Brad revealed that he loved the idea of surprising someone. “Knowing that she was going to be getting a wedding dress, I felt like it would be so cool if I could do that for her,” he added. Sharing her feelings and mix of emotions, Victoria said, “To be in that moment where I was trying on the dress and it was the one that I had picked and he’s like, ‘Oh, I want to pay for it.’ I’m like excuse me? I was blown away.” Sharing more, the sister also remarked that she never expected him to do something that wholesome. Victoria further shared a little backstory about the dress and the gesture.

She said that she had tried on several bridal styles but the one she chose was what got her heart and was one that fit just right. “It was perfect for me,” she added. Her brother connected his gesture and surprise to his idea of saving money which he constantly speaks of and supports as a content creator. “I think that’s why I make the content that I make about saving money, being responsible because I was able to save my money for a special moment that we’re always gonna have forever.” Victoria pitched in more about her brother’s gesture and how she felt.

She said, “Looking back on it now and knowing all of the stuff he did like planning the bachelorette and helping me with all the wedding aspects, I think it made me more appreciative.” “Going that extra step to be more thoughtful towards your loved ones, I think that’s what matters the most,” Brad added. Brad’s original video went viral on TikTok and received over 41k likes. Commenters were taken aback by the magnificent gesture and were convinced about being financially responsible as Brad was. @libbybonthelabel said, “As a bride myself I can say this is so sweet and special of you to gift her. She’ll remember this and be grateful forever." @avaa.christine said, “These are the things you should spend money on.”
