President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden's two dogs were sent back to the Biden family home in Delaware last week. Two sources told CNN that there was an aggressive incident that had occurred. A "biting incident" came from the couple's younger dog named Major with a member of White House security. Major was adopted by Biden in November 2018 from a Delaware animal shelter. It seems that the incident may be severe since the dogs were subsequently moved to Wilmington, Delaware. The victim's condition is currently unknown.

Apparently, this isn't the first time Major has behaved agitatedly. On previous occasions, he has shown behavior that included jumping, barking, and "charging" at staff and security. The couple's older dog Champ is over 13 years old and is not as physically active as Major. But the two seem to have always been adored by their parents. "I've been getting obsessed with getting our dogs settled because we have an old dog and we have a very young dog," Jill Biden told Kelly Clarkson last month on The Kelly Clarkson Show. "They have to take the elevator, they're not used to that, and they have to go out on the South Lawn with lots of people watching them. So that's what I've been obsessed with, getting everybody settled and calm." While the two are not allowed on the furniture, the first lady has spotted him in a place where he isn't supposed to be. She admitted to catching Major on the couch. "They run all over," said Biden.

According to NYT, the dogs moved in soon after the Bidens relocated to Washington to move into the White House. Both dogs have been allowed to roam unleashed on the White House grounds. In fact, they are seen quite often in the backdrop in Oval Office photos. “They really don’t have any rules, they’re really good dogs,” Dr. Biden told PEOPLE previously. "We trained them from the beginning," Biden said. "Champ is old, he's 14 years old and he was extremely well-trained by the Canine Corps and he thinks he's Secret Service, but Major, who is a big, little dog, is about a year-and-half-old and the only rule Jill has and he follows it: do not get up on the furniture." "The beds, furniture, except when our granddaughters stay overnight," Biden admitted. "He sneaks in," Dr. Biden said of Major. "We walk in, he sneaks in, he jumps up on the bed with them," Biden added.

Major is the first rescue dog to live in the White House. Trump did not have any pets so Champ and Major's move marked the return of pets to the establishment. According to the Delaware Humane Association, there was a litter of pups that weren't doing too well. "Once we posted about them for your help, Joe Biden caught wind of them and reached out immediately. The rest is history," the group mentioned on Facebook.

Biden once injured his foot while playing with the pup in late November. Biden told CNN at the time, "What happened was I got out of the shower. I got a dog and anybody who's been around my house knows — dropped, little pup dropped a ball in front of me. And for me to grab the ball," Biden explained. "And I'm walking through this little alleyway to get to the bedroom. And I grabbed the ball ... and he ran." "And I'm joking, running after him and grab his tail. And what happened was that he slid on a throw rug. And I tripped on the rug he slid on. That's what happened," Biden said, adding, "Oh man, not a very exciting story." Biden even needed a walking boot for the healing process.
