Beyonce gave a subtle nod to actress and singer Tia Mowry, who used to be in a girl band too, during the Los Angeles leg of her tour.
Fans know that Beyonce began her career as a member of the famous girl group "Destiny's Child." After they split up, the 42-year-old songstress went on to have one of the most illustrated careers in the music industry. But Queen Bey has not forgotten her roots or others who've walked the same path as her; not even while celebrating her birthday. Actress and singer Tia Mowry got a special shoutout from the "Single Ladies" singer while attending Beyonce's final show in the Los Angeles leg of her Renaissance World Tour at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
According to PEOPLE, the "Sister, Sister" actress—who used to be part of a girl group called Voices with her twin sister Tamera Mowry—was noticed by Beyonce while she was in the audience. The "Halo" singer did not shy away from giving Mowry a nostalgic tribute by performing a snippet of the Voices' hit single, "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!" Mowry was grateful for Beyonce's nod to her band's music as she shared a sweet throwback post of herself along with Beyonce on Instagram.

"The first time I met Beyonce was during her Destiny's Child days when she was on a production with my brother Tahj Mowry and since then, I have been lucky to cross paths with her throughout the years. From the beginning, Beyoncé's undeniable talent is only rivaled by her incredible kindness and generosity," Mowry wrote in the caption of her post. "I felt so lucky to have been able to see her perform Renaissance on her birthday! You can truly see how amazing and detailed an artist she is and how much thought and love was put into this show."

"The highlight of the night was when she saw me in the crowd, and she gave me a smile and a hello, and then started singing 'yeah, yeah, yeah' from when Tamera and I were in the singing group, Voices! I was so touched by her gesture and I still can't believe that it truly happened! She's a true icon, who continuously inspires me with her talent, dedication, humility and beautiful spirit," the post concluded.
However, Mowry was not the only one who got surprises during Beyonce's concert. The birthday girl herself was surprised with a tribute from legendary songstress Diana Ross as she sang "Happy Birthday" and "Love Hangover" for the "Crazy In Love" singer. "Thank you so much. You are so amazing. This is the legendary Diana Ross," Beyoncé reportedly told Ross afterward.
