Many best friends dream of doing certain things together as they grow up, such as attending the same college, having similar jobs, starting a business, or living next to each other. Since their junior year of college, two best friends shared the dream of living together again. When one of them finally made that dream a reality, she planned a big surprise for her best friend. Anna Bohlman, who goes by @annaisabella2 on Instagram, took to the platform to share the moment she broke the news to her best friend.

"I told my best friend I’ve been keeping a secret from her for weeks," Bohlman began, as she asked her friend to sit with her after seeing the confusion on her face. "I am gonna throw up," her friend expressed nervously. "Okay, so I’ve been keeping this from you for weeks. I feel like you're the only person who doesn't know. You can open this," Bohlman said, pointing to a white box in front of them. As her friend, Elizabeth Meeks, opened the gift, she asked, "Did you adopt a kid?" Inside the box were cookies decorated with blue and white icing, shaped like two houses with "Hey neighbor" written on them. "What's happening?" Elizabeth asked. "I got an apartment down the hall," Bohlman revealed, sharing the exciting surprise.

Meeks was in complete disbelief, double-checking the news before jumping on her best friend and giving her the biggest hug. "I move in two weeks," Bohlman continued. "I didn’t want to tell you in case I didn’t go through with it or something didn’t happen." Meeks, still in shock, responded, "I don’t know what to do right now." Bohlman then asked, "Do you want to see it? I have the keys." Both friends were ecstatic, celebrating Bohlman’s big move. The caption read, "Since junior year of college, Elizabeth and I always talked about wanting to live together again, but it didn’t seem like our timelines would ever line up. I’ve also always said I wanted to live by myself at some point in my life. Little did I know God was going to provide me with BOTH. A one-bedroom apartment in Elizabeth’s building... on the same floor... just a couple doors down. Here’s to the next eight months."

People took to the comments section of the video to appreciate the beautiful moment between the two friends. @mjedge808 wrote, "The flying leap hug is the best. It makes me cry with happiness for you. And makes me sad my best friend is four hours away. Cherish every moment!" @tiuelena commented, "I wish we in our girlhood all made announcements like this- not just for weddings and babies… All these moments deserve this type of magic."

@pnwkindness remarked, "The fact she thought her friend was adopting a kid makes me love her best friend. I’m on the fifth season of watching this video." @aicirt.l.f shared, "If I ever did this, I wouldn’t even tell her; I would just call her up and tell her to come to help me move and literally pull up to her apartment complex and she’d probably be like 'WHAT?'" @quien_mato_sub expressed, "I’d be one of the happiest woman alive if she’s my neighbor!"
