Affleck could be seen making announcements in his booming voice to invite the evening's star players as they entered the court.
Ben Affleck and his 10-year-old son were a treat to watch at the 2023 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday, February 17. The actor and his son introduced the starting lineups for the dueling teams, as reported by TODAY.
Affleck could be seen making announcements in his booming voice to invite the evening's star players as they entered the court at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. Samuel also announced the names of some players, with his dad, in his own unique style.
Many on Twitter loved the father-son dynamic. Twitter user @caitlincruz commented, "Ben Affleck and his son announcing the celebrity all-star game is actually VERY cute." In the same vein, @QueenJLo22 wrote, "They're adorable," and @d_iroka commented, "Bruh people were saying Ben Affleck was happier at the All-star celebrity game than he was at the Grammys. I just saw it and it's the freakin truth." This was in reference to the 2023 Grammys, where Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were in the limelight after Ben's facial expression went viral. It is reported that the actor was tired that night but still attended the award function to support his wife.

This is not the only time that the actor will take the center stage for the basketball season. In April, Affleck will be seen in the movie "Air" which portrays Nike's pursuit of basketball legend Michael Jordan and how it became one of the best collaborations in history. Affleck is directing and starring in the film along with his best friend, Matt Damon. Actors Jason Bateman, Viola Davis, Marlon Wayans, Chris Messina, and Chris Tucker are also cast in it.
The actor, with his wife Jennifer Lopez, recently appeared in a hilarious Dunkin' Super Bowl advertisement. Affleck has been a Dunkin' loyalist all his life, and this has been a running joke as well. It was about time he was featured in a Super Bowl ad. And, as expected, they knocked it out of the park!

In the weeks before the Super Bowl, there were pictures, floating around on the internet, of the couple at a Dunkin' location. Fans later discovered that the pictures were the lead-up to a commercial. In the commercial, Affleck can be seen taking orders at a Dunkin' store in Medford, MA, and he seems to be enjoying himself as he pranks the unsuspecting customers. At one point, he can be heard saying, "How can it be so inexpensive and good?" A few seconds later, he is yelling, "One sec, I'm trying to find the bagels."
Affleck shocks one customer when he turns up at the counter, and he asks another customer, "Do I look familiar?" In the end, Lopez arrives in her car and asks, "What are you doing here? This is what you do when you say you are going to work all day?" Affleck replies, "I gotta go guys," but the "On the Floor" singer can't let him leave without her order. Lopez says, "Grab me a glaze."

People on Twitter sure had some jokes about the commercial. @apbenven commented, "that dunkin’ commercial was unrealistic not because Ben Affleck wouldn’t work there but because J.Lo definitely doesn’t drive." @RyanJamesDee commented, "Not Ben Affleck looking infinitely more enthusiastic to be working a Dunkin drive-thru than being at the Grammys." Another user, @itsjwills wrote, "Ben Affleck in a Dunkin commercial was well played."
