When it comes to job interviews, there are many people to impress and many more interviewees to choose from. "Shark Tank" star Barbara Corcoran is known to cut straight to the point and close sharp deals. Whether it's finalizing a partnership, selling a business, or landing a role, she is known to "know it all." She now has the perfect advice to share to absolutely nail a job interview and everyone can thank her later.

The $100 million-worth real estate entrepreneur took to her TikTok to share a strategy that guarantees to earn the interview panel's respect. She captioned the video "My best #interviewtip! Oops, don’t mind my hose," while she was seen watering her garden wearing a pair of gloves and sunglasses.

"Do you want to know the most important question you can ask in an interview?" Corcoran addresses the camera. "I bet you haven't heard this one." Corcoran recommends that candidates ask the question before leaving the room. "You look at the person interviewing you and you say to them: 'Is there anything standing in the way of you hiring me?'"

The 74-year-old explains why this works. "It's polite. You force them into the position of telling you what they might object to. There may have been a miscommunication, they didn't understand you. It gives you the last shot." The bold question can earn the interviewing panel's respect in addition to establishing rapport, according to Corcoran. She urges interviewees to "close the deal."

Viewers loved this advice and some recruiters also shared their perspectives. "As an employer, I can tell you that this would definitely work on me," commented @tbonetheoriginal. "I’m a recruiter, this is fine, but people need to be prepared for the answer and not become argumentative. So many people argue/become defensive," wrote @tabbydel.

Interviewees also shared what they like to ask interviewers and got Corcoran's approval as well. "I always ask 'Do you have any concerns with my resume or anything that I may be able to clarify before we wrap up?' Never not gotten the job," shared @victoriakatsaros. "I like to ask 'What other information do you need to determine if I'm the best fit for the role?' It's not a Yes/No and allows them to ask more questions," added @hangrymommy.

Corcoran, who boldly sued former president Donald Trump in court, isn't afraid to speak her mind. The TV star famously had to fight for her spot on the ABC show after producer Mark Burnett informed her that another female entrepreneur had been assigned her seat. According to Fortune, she emailed Burnett directly with a request: an invitation for both women to come to Los Angeles to compete for the seat.

In many cases, her suggestions to crack the interview have worked. Tracy Britt Cool, Warren Buffett's protege, recently shared with CNBC that after graduating from Harvard Business School, she wrote to a slew of top-level executives. This led to meetings with Morgan Stanley and Bear Stearns and eventually a job with Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway. Britt Cool described her approach as proactive and respectful, which Corcoran emphasizes is important in her own strategy.
