A simple gesture from the author's end resulted in a priceless way of rekindling kindness and thoughtfulness every time they thought of the rule.

You might not know it but you often have the ability to help a person in need by doing just what you do. Maybe through a skill or talent, your time, your routine, or even your profession. An author named Abby Jiminez (@authorabbyjiminez) was able to help a restaurant, Ginza, in Champlin, Minnesota, through her profession and work. She didn’t go out of her way to do it; she just helped while she was writing her new book. In a post dated November 13, her daughter, Maya Jiminez, revealed how the restaurant thanked her with a special rule for her family.

Abby is a bestselling author and has recently been dabbling in romantic novels. In a post, she revealed that she is all set to publish “The Night We Met” next year, another vibrant story of Chris and Larissa, who try to figure out relationships and life through adulthood. Her romantic novels are something else, and for many, the magic lies in the details, and Abby didn’t fail at that. Maya mentioned that Abby wanted to help out one of her regular restaurants, the Ginza Sushi and Grill in Champlin. So she decided to do it with a simple gesture — she made a mention of them in her novel.

Abby wrote “Say You’ll Remember Me,” a romance novel, circling the lives of Xavier and Samantha and their relationship, per Goodreads. It has also been nominated for the “Goodreads Choice Awards.” While speaking of Xavier and Samantha, she casually added the restaurant’s name. “This is the restaurant that Xavier takes Samantha to on a date,” she wrote in her caption. Undoubtedly, the book did well and worked miracles for the outlet. Grateful for her help through her creative way, Linda, from the restaurant, decided to practise one habit, a rule of a sorts, every single time she or her family arrived there.
Abby and her family are not allowed to pay for their meals when they go to the restaurant. It’s their way of appreciating the subtle kindness the woman exercised towards them. The video captured Maya, who was not exempt from the rule, back in her car after being refused upon attempting to pay. She mentioned that the staff refused to take their cards, so they came prepared with cash this time. However, the restaurant was bent on their rule and ensured they sent the money back with Maya. The woman really wanted to pay as an appreciation for their service and the meals and so she plotted to run in, leave the money at the counter and rush back into the car.
“She feels very thankful and grateful that my mom did that and it gave her business. She’s the sweetest woman ever,” she remarked. In a comment, Abby chimed in, “I order on DoorDash because she can't stop me from paying if I use their app, and I don't use my real name, BUT SHE KNOWS MY ORDER and figures it out and puts free things in the bag.” Their lighthearted kindness surfaces each time they're reminded of the rule at the restaurant and it’s the perfect example of how something simple can be significant. @judybly27 said, “This was great.” @alexisteasdale wrote, “LINDA! This is the cutest! Tell her she has fans all the way in Australia now.”
