Artist sets up special photo booth to snap stunning photos of birds and critters visiting her garden

Have you ever been fascinated by birds and how they live their everyday lives? An Instagram page called Ostrodossel covers birds in their natural habitat. The page is run by Lisa who captures birds and other critters visiting her garden. She has set up photo booths to click pictures of birds and other small animals who nibble at the food she gives them. Lisa was not always a bird enthusiast. It started when she moved from Germany to America in 2012 and happened to notice that the wildlife in her backyard was quite different from what she was used to seeing in her home country. Enraptured by the colorful wildlife, she started laying out food for them and started clicking pictures of them to send to her family.

Talking to Bored Panda and Detroit Metro Times, she shared how she managed to come up with her current photo booth setup that doesn't scare away the birds and animals while they are enjoying themselves. Lisa shares that her creative process involves choosing the best photo options from a plethora of photos. “I enjoy seeing the beauty of the bird anatomy, the delicate patterns, the feathers, the colors, and of course their antics. How they pose, etc. The reward is being able to share it with the world and seeing how others enjoy it as well, learn something, or are becoming more fascinated by nature,” Lisa added.
