Artist painted couple's wedding portrait but when the bride saw the finished artwork, she broke down in tears

Certain moments from a wedding ceremony stay with the couple for a lifetime. It could be an abstract memory or a concrete souvenir that can be kept and cherished. Similarly, a bride had the opportunity to make a wholesome memory when an artist created a live painting of her first dance and included a special person in it. The bride, Daniella Giansante (@daniellapz), was in tears when she saw the result. The artist and live painter from Canada, Catarina Cruzeiro–who goes by @idkcatarinaa on TikTok–shared the tearjerking incident on the platform.

"I was asked to include a very special person in their wedding painting," Cruzeiro wrote. "Omg, she looks so good," the bride expressed as she looked at the painting with tears in her eyes before breaking down completely. "For the majority of the night, the guests thought that I was just painting the couple." Most of the guests in the gathering were wiping their tears while looking at the painting. The bride also gave the artist a big hug to show how grateful she was. "I had gone to the ceremony to take a photo of them earlier that day," Cruzeiro shared as she painted a picture of the couple dancing with each other in what looked like a church. "So I was able to get started on their portraits and backgrounds right away."

"The bride had asked me earlier if I could include her mom in the painting," Cruzeiro revealed. "Sadly, her mom is no longer with us. So, adding her to the painting was so special. Not only to them but to their loved ones as well." She added, "We gave her a purple dress, just like she would have worn." The artist went on, "This painting is a forever sign that she was watching over them on that day and every day." The wedding party and the bride gathered around the painting for quite some time and were seemingly surprised at the result. "Forever grateful to be trusted with something so meaningful," Cruzeiro concluded. The video received nearly 11 million views and over 1.5 million likes.

The caption read, "My heart. One of the top reasons why I love what I do." People in the comments loved the beautiful painting. @dantheman118 wrote, "'Supermarket Flowers' - the song by Ed Sheeran always, always makes me cry. Just a way to let out tears." @31moor shared, "Thinking of my mom now. I lost her in March because she had cancer. I can't help but think about that one day I'll get married, and she won't be there." @deadalex31 expressed, "I lost my mom when I was 25.
