Artist illustrates superheroes in 30 hilarious behind-the-scenes situations

Have you ever wondered what the private lives of superheroes look like? Do they face the same menial day-to-day life challenges as us mere mortals? Do their powers ever become a bane to themselves and those near them? Do they also grapple with irrational fears and struggle with unexpected setbacks? Lucky for us, artist Lucas Nascimento—better known as Dragonarte on social media—has imagined and skillfully illustrated some of our favorite superheroes in various hilarious scenarios that we don't see in movies and comics. The Brazilian illustrator is so good at what they do that they've accumulated almost 115,000 followers on Facebook and a whopping 224,000 on Instagram.

Nascimento plays off of everything that we know about superheroes of the likes of Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Goku, Thor, Doctor Strange, etc by placing them in unexpectedly funny situations based on our knowledge of the characters. From Batman pulling a fast one on his fellow crusaders to Kal-El aka Clark Kent being too powerful for his own good, these comics are a thoroughly entertaining treat for fans.
