Adoption can be a heartwarming moment in any parent's life, but this father decided to turn the first time he locked eyes with his adopted 6-month-old daughter into a song that has now melted hearts online. Zac Lawson's wife, Victoria (@imvictorialawson), posted a clip of the song on November 23, which her husband had composed, and it has now gained more than 73,000 likes on Instagram.

Victoria and Zac Lawson had adopted their daughter 6 months ago, and their adoption video had moved online users to tears. Six months after their daughter, Haven, entered their lives, Zac composed a beautiful song describing the first time he held her in his arms. The song titled 'Her' (ft. ZVC) has Zac meeting his daughter, "love at first sight." Zac also promises to take care of her until the day "she walks down that aisle." Zac, the brother of popular singer Jake Lawson, who performs under the stage name JVKE, co-wrote the song, which is now available for streaming on all major music platforms. One particular verse has listeners' eyes gleaming with tears: "Love, love at first sight / Hospital lights / That was the day you changed my life / Five littlе fingers wrapped around mine / That's whеn I knew that I would / Love you to the day, to the day that I die..."

Victoria, who posted a clip of the song consisting of a montage of their first meeting with their adopted daughter, wrote a caption, "We adopted Haven exactly 6 months ago, and somehow Zac perfectly turned that moment into a song. I need tissues when I listen to this. I'll never forget the way it felt to see her for the first time, and listening to this song makes me feel it all over again." A 2009 study by Linda van den Dries found that children adopted before 12 months of age were as securely attached to their adoptive parents as non-adopted peers. Despite not being biologically related, Zac's bond with his adopted daughter is deeper than any relationship, which is reflected in the heartfelt song he composed for his daughter.

Soon after the post went viral, online users couldn't help but gush about it. @r_indahk wrote, "It's hard to find men who want to adopt in my country, so when I see a moment like this, I feel so touched. That child is a gift, even if they didn't come from our womb. I hope every good thing for your family." @dina_inle commented, "Cried listening to it and watching this with you the first time . We just love our granddaughter, Haven, so much . We can't get enough of her. So much joy she has bought to our family." @bicardyb shared, "Zac, you have told an amazing story of Haven coming into your lives. Truly, you and Victoria are ministering to other adoptive families, who may not have the words to channel similar emotions, and share your story of love and life! Congratulations and Happy Thanksgiving to y'all."
