Ahead of Swift's shows on the weekend, the city renamed the street outside the stadium 'Taylor Swift Way.'
Taylor Swift, the musical superstar, is currently on her "The Eras Tour" in the United States. The highly-awaited tour has been critically acclaimed and people worldwide are honoring the singer and her loyal fans in different ways. Ahead of her Arlington shows, the city is setting up a selfie spot outside AT&T stadium where the "swifties" can have a special moment. The city is renaming the street outside the stadium as "Taylor Swift Way" to mark the occasion of her Eras Tour, performing there for three shows from Friday to Sunday. On Thursday, the city tweeted photos of the sign being installed at the intersection of Randol Mill Road and Collins Street, as reported by NBCDFW.
There is no information yet on the city's plan for the sign after the Eras Tour ends in Arlington and moves to Tampa on Sunday night. The city has announced that there will be additional photo opportunities for Taylor Swift fans besides the selfie spot outside AT&T Stadium. From Friday through Sunday, the four-story steel sculptures in front of City Hall will be illuminated in red light. Arlington Mayor, Jim Ross, a Taylor Swift fan, has declared the concert weekend as Taylor Swift Weekend and will give her a key to the city.
According to the city, there are more chances for Taylor Swift fans to take photos. The four-story steel sculptures located in front of City Hall will be illuminated in red light throughout the weekend. Also, in other parts of Arlington, the animal services department is hosting an adoption event in tribute to Taylor Swift.

In addition, some special pets that are VIPs will have a $9 adoption fee, representing Swift's nine No. 1 Hits. The HELP Center for LGBT Health will present the "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Collection" exhibition at the Arlington Museum of Art this summer, which will exclusively showcase the development of the artist's creative expression. The exhibit is scheduled to commence on June 3 and conclude on September 24.
The tour is not just about her music. Swift is also making charitable efforts in each city she is visiting. Reports indicate that Taylor Swift made a generous donation to the Arizona Food Bank Network, an organization that supports five regional food banks and approximately 1,000 food pantries and agencies, during the kickoff of her highly anticipated tour in Glendale, Arizona. Terri Shoemaker, the vice president of Arizona Food Bank Network, disclosed to AZ Central that Swift's PR agent informed her that the Grammy-winning artist had the desire to make a beneficial contribution to the regions she visits during her tour. However, Swift has not publicly announced her donation.
