2020 took a really dark turn really fast, didn't it? I can't believe just 3 months into this yearβ€”a year many of us had such high hopes forβ€”it feels as though we've been living in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi survival thriller for ages. With the fear of being infected on one hand and social distancing slowly introducing many of us to cabin fever on the other, we could all use a little bit of cheer right about now. Thankfully, Animal Planet has come up with the perfect solution: Puppies and kittens!

Animal Planet is currently hosting a 4-day-long marathon of puppy and kitten content aiming to brighten our currently gloomy state of mind. The channel's Too Cute marathon is all way better than whatever funny animal video is trending on Instagram today and the internet just can't seem to get enough of it. Not surprising given that the show's description states: "Witness the world of puppies and kittens as they never have before with unprecedented footage and never-before-seen clips of the early lives of dogs and cats. This series contains material that is just too cute. It is a world where cuddly knows no bounds and a place where fluffy reigns supreme."

Here's a glimpse of what the #TooCuteMarathon is all about:

According to Animal Planet, the puppies part of the Too Cute documentary series, "follows the birth and first months of three distinct puppy litters from the puppies' perspectives. This is puppies the way they were meant to be seen, ridiculously up-close and in jaw-dropping super slow-motion." Coming to the tiny felines featured in the series, the show tells the "remarkable story of three adorable kitten litters coming of age. From unsteady first steps to daring kitty pounces, the first eight weeks of their lives will be an epic journey for these adventurous Abyssinians, brash Bengals and perfect Persians. Between pushy puppies and bubble baths, a kitten's first few months may appear exhausting - but these cuddly kittens are simply too lovable, too curious, and too cute to quit."

Obviously, the internet is all for the puppy and kitty content marathon and can't stop gushing about how it's helping them cope with everything that's happening in the world right now.
