If you've watched the 2023 live-action remake of "The Little Mermaid," you'll know how hard Flounder and Sebastian try to look for Ariel whenever she goes missing. The events that took place at Disneyland Paris when one mom took her little girl to find Ariel was no different. The youngsterβ€”dressed in the cutest Flounder outfit we've ever laid eyes onβ€”set out on a mission to locate her favorite Disney princess. She searched long and hard for King Triton's youngest daughter and although she met other princesses along the way, she was determined to find the one closest to her heart.

Her efforts finally paid off and when she finally found Ariel, their sweet interaction was nothing less than magical. TikTok user Ana.rcenciel (@sianapalm) documented her daughter's adorable quest on the social media platform where it soon had people around the world rooting for the little Flounder.

During their quest in Disneyland Paris, Ana and her child encountered Belle, Snow White and Rapunzel β€” and asked each Disney princess for assistance in locating Ariel. Meeting any Disney princess is a treat, and judging by her happy hugs, the child did enjoy meeting all the princesses, but with her Flounder fish costume on, Ariel was the only Disney princess who could truly brighten her face.

As the little one explored Disneyland Paris, especially the Princess Pavillion multiple times, Flounder's tail wagged back and forth in an endearing manner. In a four-part video series, which gained over 52.3 million views, desperate Flounder also came across Captain Hook, who joked that he preferred the little fish in his belly.

To Flounder's relief, she eventually meets Ariel the Little Mermaid in her "dry land" outfit, a bright blue dress and runs to her excitedly. Ariel immediately recognizes little Flounder and embraces her before inviting Flounder on a walk through the Disneyland Paris theme park. Ana and her daughter run into the same Ariel later that day during a parade when she was on a parade float with other Disney princesses. She immediately recognizes the duo from earlier and sends them special magical waves.

Talking about meeting Ariel in real life, one mother and daughter also had a chance to meet with Jodi Benson, who is known for giving voice to Ariel in the 1989 cartoon version of "The Little Mermaid." TikTok user and mom, Jayla, shared in a video that they got a chance to meet her while visiting a hotel and it was like a dream come true for them. Jayla's daughter, Nyla, was also dressed in an adorable "Little Mermaid" dress and carrying an Ariel doll, which the two were taking to a premiere of the latest "The Little Mermaid" film. Before posing for the picture, Benson even helped Nyla brush her doll's hair and make sure it was front and center for the picture.
