Most employees, especially package delivery drivers, can take lunch breaks during their shifts after working continuously for hours. This break gives them time to relax and recharge. During this time, no one likes to be disturbed, unless the boss makes an unplanned request. For one delivery driver, however, things took an unexpected turn. An Amazon delivery driver, Sean—who goes by @sean5five on TikTok—was doing his job and enjoying his lunch break during the holiday rush when one of his customers allegedly chased him down to get what he had ordered. Gobsmacked by the incident, he garnered support from the online community after recording the interaction and asking the buyer to wait.

In a video that gained over 1 million views, Sean was seen confronting a man who had chased him for “thirty minutes” over the delivery of his order. For his safety, Sean drove back to a secure location to avoid any mishap. However, the customer stood firm in his stance and demanded his package on the spot while the delivery driver was on a mid-shift break. “Are you serious?” the California-based logistics worker asked the stubborn customer. “Yeah, I'm f****** serious,” responded the man sitting inside his car with a woman, presumably his wife. Upon hearing this, the Amazon driver stood his ground and said, “So, I'm taking a break. We're allowed to have breaks.”

However, the unidentified customer remained persistent in his demand. “See what I'm going to do?” Sean asked, adding, “I'm gonna get you your package, but I'm on my break, and in California, we're allowed to take breaks.” Furthermore, Sean questioned the customer about whether he took breaks. “Are you legally allowed to take breaks at your job?” To which the man replied, “I don't take breaks. That’s why I'm not a f****** Amazon driver.” The attempt to insult the delivery driver made his partner uncomfortable, as shown in the nearly 50-second clip.

Thereafter, the agitated customer claimed he would have given in if he were not a dad and did not need the package urgently. "I'm a dad, too. So, I'm not going to say what I want to say to you. But I wish I had given you the runway," Sean replied. This led to a tense situation between them as both men kept exchanging nasty jibes. "You see, I'm in a uniform, and I can't because I'm on the job," the Amazon delivery driver reiterated. Additionally, the 29-year-old driver claimed he would hand over the package following his break. Sean concluded by thanking the customer for allowing him to record the video, hinting that he might report the incident to the authorities if necessary.

Sean asked the community to make the man “famous.” He wrote in the captions, “He decided to follow me around for 30 minutes and approached me until I finally had to just leave my deliveries and go somewhere safe. Never know who is crazy enough to hurt someone.”

Meanwhile, the video of him calling out the customer for his uncalled-for behavior garnered people's support. Among the countless reactions, @ddlpzs1982 commented, “I hope you took those packages back to the warehouse and showed them the video.” “That derogatory remark about him not being an Amazon driver was not called for. Mr. Amazon employee, you are amazing,” remarked @kmchambliss. “I have snacks on my porch for delivery and postal workers. Nobody’s job is below me. Nobody’s time is more precious than mine,” @seatacairak added.
