Travel and vacation are some of the things that are looked forward to throughout the year. Whether it’s flying to explore or simply for a getaway, nothing beats the bliss of being somewhere new, somewhere nostalgic, somewhere pleasant and somewhere delightful. We all have different ideas for the ideal vacation. However, all will agree that this vacation can be termed “ideal” only when the place you’re lodging at is also noteworthy. If your vacation space is not up to the mark, it leaves a void in a fulfilling travel experience. To add to this, if you leave behind or lose your belongings, the vacation may become a regretful one.

u/TinySpiderman shared his vacation experience with Airbnb which was not a regretful one due to one man’s thoughtfulness. He took to the u/MadeMeSmile forum to share his horrifying share of messy vacations and how Denis came to the rescue. He captioned the post saying, “I thought I lost my wedding band forever at Airbnb. Denis didn’t give up the hunt and mailed it back to me!” Further in the post, he gave a brief idea of what happened and posted a picture that spoke of relief.

The man mentioned that he was staying at one of the hotels at Airbnb during a vacation and he misplaced his wedding band. He mentioned that he was very upset and worried about it which rightly any spouse would be. He went on to write, “My wife had designed our bands to match and for mine to also match my engagement ring.” All the married couples that are gasping right now, there is good news to come. He left back for home dejected without the ring with bleak hopes. However, his host Denis completed the job for him. Though not directly his responsibility, especially after the guest had left the hotel, the host continued to be on the lookout for the ring.

He continued, “Our host had almost given up searching but spotted a glint in the driveway and there it was. Thank you, Denny!!” He not only spotted the ring but also took the trouble to mail it right back to the man. He was overjoyed on receiving the ring and shared a picture of the ring with the packaging in which Denis had presumably sent the same. There was also a tiny note that read, “Inside, Jamie. Good luck, Denis.” While the contents of the note were a bit confusing given the alignment and punctuation, it meant Denis was giving a simple indication of the ring along with best wishes for Jamie.

What was additionally a pleasant surprise was a dog in the picture glaring at the ring from a corner of the picture. Many Reddit users focused on that over the ring. Many even tried to decode the letter due to its confusing nature which added a light humor to the post altogether. The post received over 13k upvotes with a flood of comments. u/probablyproud wrote, “I thought Jamie was the dog and the ring was found inside Jamie.” u/TheRastopher said, “I’m pretty sure your dog will kill you if you ever lose that ring again.” Losing something as tiny yet significant as a wedding ring means few hopes and much despair. Not to mention the horror of having to come clean to your spouse about having lost a wedding ring! What a relief for Jamie, thanks to people like Denis!
