Parents usually have a hard time dealing with teenagers. Kids this age sometimes prefer not to listen to their parents and often say mean and hurtful things. This explains why parents are a bit wary of their children becoming teenagers. However, one kid was kind enough to apologize to her mom well in advance for any disrespect she may display as a teen. Sheridan Ingalls shared an Instagram video in which her daughter can be heard giving her a sweet disclaimer about becoming a teenager.

Kaia, Ingalls' daughter, is seen sitting in the front seat of a car with her mom filming her from the driver's seat. The text overlay reads, "Kaia prepping me for puberty and what's to come." The youngster started by saying, “So when I’m older and I’m 16 or like, 12, and I start being rude, I’m going to be rude for two years." She then went on to say the most thoughtful thing. “So please remember that I’m actually being rude so I can be like all the other teenagers and I’ll just still love you, but I will feel mean on the outside, but not on the inside,” she expressed. After this, the mom asked the daughter, “You will still love me no matter what?” As Kaia nodded in response, Ingal replied, “Got it. I’ll remember this. I’ll pull this out when you’re 16, girl!”

The video garnered 364k views and was captioned, "It’s the genuine look of concern for me lolol. It’s okay girl, your mom knows exactly what she was like in those years and I promise not to take it personally." People in the comments resonated with the video. @sarahgwenart commented, "On the eve of my son’s 13th birthday he went to bed in tears because he didn’t want to be a teenager because he still wanted to 'like hanging out with you guys!'" @amycheverie wrote, "Honestly so insightful of her to recognize that it will be just a front to fit in with the other kids, lol."

@laylarxse shared, "She honestly nailed this! My sister is 12 and this is exactly how she is but I always play and joke with her cause I know what she's dealing with." @pattyjonas8613 said, "Smart kid. Tell her she can also choose to only be rude in front of other kids but can be her sweet self at home." @jainen_sydan said, "As a mom to three teenage girls, she's absolutely right. Two years of attitude and then poof! They're suddenly your little broke bestie."

In another story, a mom named Allie Phillips shared on TikTok that her 6-year-old daughter is already getting suitors. She started by saying that her child is very excited that her boyfriend Brandon has been saying things like they were in love and would get married once they grow up. One day, the youngster came home talking about a boy named Trevor and how he had gifted her an actual diamond ring. The Phillips' daughter dumped Brandon and became Trevor's girlfriend because "he rolled up with a ring." The alarmed mother wanted to return the ring to its rightful owner and she posted about the hilarious incident on her daughter's school group on Facebook. She found that it belonged to Trevor's great-grandmother who lives in Alabama. Phillips made sure to ship the ring to its owner.
