Pet owners keenly wait to meet their fur babies after work, hoping they spent some good time being away. Like any human parent anxiously awaiting an update about their child’s report card, one dog caregiver shared a similar wholesome moment with their giant Great Dane. Summer Wilson—who goes by @summerdoingthings on TikTok—captured the sweet exchange between Maddox and his dog dad, showing the duo discussing the canine’s grades and performance at daycare.

“Daddy reads Maddox his report card from daycare,” the caption and the widely circulating video read. It starts with the co-owner reading to understand the Great Dane’s behavior while being alone. “Felt right at home,” he said, hinting possibly at the fact that the canine loved spending time at the daycare facility. “You like it there, buddy?” the dog dad remarked while praising his child.

Furthermore, the next point read, “Gobbled it down, eating habits.” To which, the dog dad asked Maddox to not eat so fast, as he usually does. “Maddox is the playgroup’s wild child,” the parent revealed further while rubbing the former’s back. Notably, during the one-minute and twenty-one-second-long footage, the canine stands in discipline while his owner goes through the report card. Maddox was described in the daycare facility’s report as a dog who loves to play with others.

The adorable-looking canine, with polka dots all over his body, was further complimented for sticking to his gang throughout his time at daycare. He was a friendly dog as the report suggested. Some of the activities the Great Dane usually liked indulging in included water park fun, sunbathing, catch me if you can, bell rubs, hide and seek and watch.

Additionally, Maddox often showers love to people around him through constant demands to be held. His friends are Janks, Tommy, Sky, and Betty. After reading Max’s report card, the parent praised him for doing great, as always. “He enjoyed splashing around at the water park with his friends. We can't wait to see him back soon,” the dog dad concluded. Maddox stuck around till the end to ensure that the remarks were accurate. The fur baby let out a big cry, showing excitement to return to daycare.

Summer claims that attending dog daycare and maintaining excellent behavior gets exhausting. When Maddox gets home, he's usually "tuckered out." Meanwhile, the TikTok video about Maddox's reaction to his report card has managed to garner around 531.1K views and 64,900 likes, including hundreds of comments filled with love for the Great Dane. Among them, @jullos52 remarked, “Mom said, 'Betty!?!' Haha, could Maddox and Betty be a thing?” To which, Summer responded by saying: “Sounds like he got caught!”

“He is so handsome. There is no greater love than that of a Great Dane,” @donovanthegreatdane added. “Please take him to Petsmart to pick out a toy for his good report card!” suggested @therealjenay. “Could you please do another video of the report card, Dad?” requested @kenzoku_88. Others loved the canine and his parent for sharing such a sweet bond and caring for one another.
