Having a pet is a journey filled with highs and lows. Vibing with them can create the most heartwarming moments of one's life. This is on full display in a video put forth by kitten foster mom Kim Russell (@myjerkcats) of a tiny feline named Zap. In the video, both of them are seen enjoying each other's embrace, with the human reveling in Zap's reaction to seeing birds outside for the first time ever. Zap is evidently intrigued by the flying creatures and her reaction is so cute that it is winning hearts all over the internet. In a matter of days, the video has gone viral on every social media platform. Zap is a foster cat who is currently enjoying her stay with Russell.

The video begins with Zap curiously looking outside. After seeing the birds in their element, she begins kneading her paws on her human's hands. There is also a point where she lays her head against her human, as if trying to take in the beauty of everything. She does make an attempt to get out of her human's grip but fails. Her wide eyes and affectionate gestures can make anyone melt into a puddle of water. The adorable reaction is heartwarming and one of the biggest examples of how having a pet can enrich someone's life. Seeing their fascination with nature also enhances our human relationship with it.

As a foster parent, Russell regularly posts content related to the animals in her home. They put a variety of emotions on display, from love to playfulness. At present, Russell has six cute kittens living with her in her home. In one video, Russell shows off her Yum-Yuck-Yum method. This method is put into use by her to mix up medicines with tasty snacks so that her cats find it easy to ingest the prescribed antibiotics. The cats definitely did not appreciate the betrayal. Another video features all six kittens getting into the Christmas spirit with Reindeer filters. The cats looked so adorable that many people would prefer them over the original Santa.

After the video went viral with 12.7 million views, 3.5 million likes and nearly 10k comments, several people flooded the comment section and DMs to adopt the adorable kittens. Therefore, Russell posted a video explaining how the whole process worked. Whenever she makes a video featuring her foster animals, she tags the foster they are associated with in the video. Her six kittens are with the Peterborough Humane Society and those interested in adopting can contact the organization to start the process.
