Spending time with your family on special days is the best thing ever. It's even better when your kids decide to do something noteworthy for you to make your days of celebration even more memorable. A nutritionist and mom of two, Kaggan Parker (@heykagganparker on TikTok), posted a beautiful video capturing the moment when her two young boys decided to set up a dinner date for their parents' 13th anniversary. The video opens with Parker filming her sons and her husband Adam, who was seated across from her at the dining table. They had a handwritten menu card in their hands and their 9 and 11-year-old sons were acting as their servers for the night.

Adam went through the little menu and ordered three tacos as their older son noted the order down, even asking his dad about the kind of toppings he would like on his tacos. The little duo did everything from taking the orders of the couple to refilling their drinks without any adult's help. As Parker and Adam munched on the delicious tacos served to them, their 11-year-old emerged out of the kitchen, asking if they were ready for dessert. Parker acted surprised that there was a surprise dessert for them as well since it wasn't mentioned on the menu.

Parker exclaimed how perfect it was when the boys pulled out a bowl of Fruit Loops each for mom and dad, claiming that they had specially made it for them. The happy family concluded their anniversary night by taking some memorable still shots that were featured at the end of the video. Parker further talked to Newsweek about the adorable evening that was gifted to her and Adam by their lovely sons. The 33-year-old mom admitted that the little preparation by her kids meant a lot to them. So far, Parker and Adam had celebrated their anniversary with a nice dinner and a bouquet of flowers but this time, they couldn't find enough time to arrange that.

"I had a long day of meetings at work and ran out of time to prep the dinner I was planning to make, so I told the youngest we were going to have tacos," Parker said. "The oldest asked why we weren't going out to eat for our anniversary and I told him that we had long workdays and didn't have time." That was when Parker's son came up with the idea to arrange their parent's anniversary date at home. "Once I finished the ground beef, he asked me to pull out the candles from the cabinet and then told me to go get ready for my date with Dad," Parker mentioned, revealing that he had a part in helping her sons arrange the date.

"When my husband got home from work, my oldest intercepted him at the door and told him to get dressed up for a date with mom. I was floored. I definitely did not expect them to have anything planned. All I expected was for them to bring our plates to us from the kitchen. Instead, they planned a handwritten menu, appetizers, desserts, outfits and set the date up. It was not only the best anniversary, but it was the best date I've ever been on. This was their way of letting us have some time to ourselves and 'date,' but in a way that they could still be involved," Parker continued. "The way our boys pulled out all the stops their little hearts could think of? Just mom and dad? That is a feeling I'll never forget or take for granted. They really are very special kids."

Since Parker and her husband both came from dysfunctional households, the dinner date arranged by their sons was more than anything they could ask for. The TikTok crowd cheered and appreciated the boys as well. @shaunna_mc applauded, "His little face when you said it was perfect!!! They were so proud!!! Lordy made me tear up!" @desireebliss1 commented, "It’s the pride in the dad’s face eating his fruit loops that did it for me. How amazing." @leah...peah added, "What a beautiful family! You both have done right raising these young gentlemen. They’ll make fine men when grown. Happy Anniversary."
