Video of adorable boy carrying his little sister over a water puddle will warm your heart

The bond between siblings who grow up with each other is unlike any other. Although they do fight about getting equal shares of snacks, they will also go to great lengths to ensure each other's comfort when it truly matters. A beautiful video of such a warm moment between an older brother and his sister is going viral on social media. The video—which was originally posted on TikTok by the children's mother Kelsey Fowler—has gained more than 4,000 upvotes since being shared to the r/MadeMeSmile Reddit community by u/mindyour.

The text inlay in the video reads, "Must be nice to have an older brother." The clip shows a little girl standing in front of a puddle, hesitant to walk through the water out of fear of ruining her footwear. Although her mother assures her that it is only a little water, the crying girl raises her arms asking to be carried across. Her older brother steps in without hesitation and carries her in his arms through the puddle. The adorable video warmed people's hearts online with Reddit users sharing their own experiences of having a caring brother.

One person shared, "I have an older brother. And it really can be nice. Despite the fact that really do annoy each other, a lot, we also know we'll have each others backs when we need it." Another added, "That's so adorable. My little sister was born when I was 14. I'm in my 40s and she's almost 30 now, but you never stop being a big brother no matter how old you get." A third chimed in, "Yeah. Bro's are the absolute best. Im lucky to have an older and a younger 😄 Wouldnt change it for anything."

Meanwhile, some users also shared the mischievous side of their relationship with siblings. One wrote, "My older brother would push me in that puddle and then a wrestling match would start." Some also came forward sharing how they missed out on some of life's experiences because they did not have siblings. One Reddit user noted, "I didn't have a sibling that I lived with and as a kid I thought it was cool but when I turned 10 and started to realize the importance of family that's when I started to wish I lived with my little brother and wished I had a sister because I know I would protect her with my life."

This original has gathered almost 11 million views on TikTok since being posted earlier this year. The children's mother has also posted other videos that depict the beautiful bond between these adorable siblings. In one of those, the boy can be seen helping his sister patiently with a puzzle. The text inlay reads, "The way he talks to his little sister," and the video has over 15k views and more than a thousand comments. 

One user commented, "I love how patient he is with her! you are doing an amazing job mama!" Another added, "please tell us how u did such good work in raising this sweetly." Another video shows the boy holding an umbrella for his sister before opening a door for her like a true gentleman.
