Getting stuck in an elevator is never a pleasant situation but this medical student turned into a fun ordeal.
Medical student Joseph was about to take part in his first surgery when he got trapped in an elevator. He turned the horrifying situation into a survival thriller, referencing some of the classics of the genre including Castaway and 127 hours. Through a crack on the doors of the elevator, Joseph still had a visual of the free world he once inhabited, and one that continues to go on without him. While he was basically stuck in a claustrophobia-inducing box, Joseph posted hilarious updates from his 60-minute ordeal on Snapchat, reported Bored Panda. His narration elongates time and he ends up contemplating the meaning of life as he goes through various phases from naming his laptop Wilson to wanting to eat Wilson. Joseph goes for the jugular as his thoughts shift to cannibalism within a minute of being stuck in the elevator.
Joseph sure knows how to paint a picture by letting his imagination run wild, so grab your popcorn and settle down for a hilarious edge-of-the-seat thriller.
Being cooped inside our homes during this pandemic has never been easy, but it's the Josephs and Wilsons that have kept so many of us going, so here's to them. Don't eat your computer though.
