One of the 8-graders even told the teacher, 'You look like my grandpa's couch' and she thought it was a bit 'accurate.'

Very few teachers become their students' favorite and it mostly happens when the teacher allows their class to be frank with them. When the students feel that they can openly express themselves or have fun with their teacher, they get comfortable around them. Miss Dugan (@miss.dugan1) is one such teacher and she recently shared on Tiktok a list of rib-tickling roasts by her Gen Alpha students. In the list were some weird phrases along with funny yet "accurate" insults that older generations would find difficult to comprehend. Over 10 million views swarmed in and the eighth-grade teacher's poker-faced rendition of the roasts made it more hilarious.

Most of the roasts were about Miss Dugan's outfit choices and attitude. One of the students pointed out that she seemed to be the "type" who takes therapy. Another one said, "You look like my grandpa's couch," and apparently, Miss Dugan wore pants that looked like "trash bags are sewn together." Phrases like, "Now that the ops are gone, we can yap," and a student yelling, "I felt that one in my nuggets," when they got an answer right, bewildered the teacher. "I'm not reading all that, bro. For real. For real," said one of the students who didn't want the teacher to "write so much on their rough draft."

Also, Miss Dugan had to face some tirades about the school's poor-quality toilet paper at times. The way the teacher read out the list in a composed and totally unfazed tone made the whole video more interesting. "Miss Dugan, you don't want to know what I say about you behind your back or you'd quit your job," said a student. "How does it feel to be the only unmarried teacher in this school?" teased another one. Quoting comedian John Mulaney's words, Miss Dugan mentioned in the caption, "Eighth-graders will make fun of you but in an accurate way."

The hilarious roasts had the internet in stitches and some parents and teachers could relate to them so much. "This video has really inspired me to become a teacher. It's so rewarding," said @geminibby1719. "The delivery feels like a parent-teacher conference and my kid said all these things," remarked @elliebutt0708. "Had a teacher in eighth grade who broke down crying and was out for days. The day she came back, she said, 'Hi everyone I was goi..,' and before she could explain, some kid said, 'Are you gonna cry again?'" recalled @0ruze. "Growing up, I was confused as to why old people hated our slang. I get it now," quipped @lmlag.

As people were eager for more of these roasts, Miss Dugan posted a round-2 video and it had much more amusing insults. From asking, "Why do you smile like that?" to being concerned about the teacher's eye shadow, calling it "back stuff on your eye," the students were absolutely funny. For them, Miss Dugan looked like Molly from "Bubble Guppies," but she was, "low-key bad though."

When the teacher shared with the students an old story about her dog that ran away and never returned, their response was, "Womp, womp." Though she tried to maintain a stern demeanor while reading the list, she couldn't help but smirk a bit at some of the humorous lines.
