84-year-old aces zip-lining at her great grandson's birthday party: 'Not your average granny'

There is no age for having fun and some people are living proof of this. The body might give away, but the mind is still young for some grandmas and grandpas around the world. The internet has many such instances of old people's adorable shenanigans as though they are little kids. Recently, a woman who goes by Mrs Wacha (@mrswacha) on TikTok shared a hilarious video of her grandmother having the time of her life on a zip line. With over 70k views, the video shows the grandma's infectious energy and people cannot get over how cute the matriarch was.

In the 30-second video, Mrs.Wacha's grandma can be seen all geared up for zip lining. "It's all fun and games until your 84-year-old grandmother decides to go zip lining at her great-grandson's birthday party. She's not your average granny," the text overlay on the clip read. The grandma was intrigued by the zip line provision at what appears to be a play zone for the kids and decided to have a go at it. Sliding across the room in the zip line, hanging several feet above the ground, the grandma was absolutely thrilled. The wide grin on her face says it all. Kicking her legs and swaying side to side, the grandma turned into a little kid while zip-lining. 

One might think that an 84-year-old would have limitations when it comes to physically strenuous activities, but this grandma flew high. She even landed effortlessly at the endpoint even though there was a staff member to help her down. "Everyone should live a day in Granny’s world. The men are all handsome and she doesn't feel a day over 30," quipped Mrs Wash in the caption. The lively little grandma's moment of fun uplifted many on the internet. People showered their love and adoration for the senior woman, who enjoyed her great-grandson's birthday party thoroughly.

Life doesn’t stop and she’s living her best life," cheered @wendywarus. "My great grandma went parasailing in Mexico at 82. She died at 104 1/2. Speaking of elderly people defying age barriers, one 82-year-old grandma dances it out while cleaning up her community. Anna Berdnikova fondly referred to as Granny Anya, cleans up her neighborhood and does her chores while singing and grooving to old Russian and Indian songs, as per Good Morning America. Her community in Zlatoust, Russia, is absolutely amused by the grandma's captivating energy. "When I walk by, I collect the garbage. A street cleaner does it as well in [the summer]. In the winter, I help by shoveling the snow out," she told the outlet. Her neighbors were amazed by her relentless zest for life and serving her community.
