We all, at some point in our lives, need advice to overcome tumultuous situations or rough patches. Many consider this guidance essential for rejuvenating and bouncing back from a depressed state or significant setbacks. That is why one grandmother chose to extend her kindness to her grandchild by sending wholesome videos on what to do when feeling stuck. Patricia Whitson, a therapist from the UK, shares these beautiful moments and anecdotes from her life with the public through her business account (@mindconnectionskent) on Instagram.

In a widely circulated video, the 82-year-old can be seen walking on a vast grassland that stretches into the sky, devoid of any signs of habitation. The camera captures the beautiful setting as she appears in selfie mode, sharing a meaningful piece of advice for her grandchild. "When you're outside and there's lots of space around, it makes you feel freer," Patricia is heard saying.

The professional hypnotherapist goes on to explain that open environments “free up the mind.” Additionally, such spaces help prevent people from limiting their thoughts or beliefs about what they can achieve. Throughout the 36-second video, Patricia aims to convey a powerful message to her grandchild, suggesting that nothing is impossible in life.

“So, if you can, go somewhere where there is space around you, and it sort of expands how you feel and anything’s possible but within reason,” the grandma concluded, sparking widespread reactions on social media. @allbookedwithbri commented, “Aww... I love this! What a wonderful tip! Also, your grandma has such a soothing voice!” Adding to it, @globalenergyfrequencycoach remarked, “From an energy perspective, spending extended time in nature often involves walking, which soothes our nervous system due to the rhythm of our steps. As our resistance eases, our natural, empowered frequency emerges.”

@jessica.s_fairymagical_life wrote, “I grew up on a farm surrounded by wide open fields, much like what you see in this video, and it definitely felt much better being out there than being stuck inside.” In another video, Patricia addresses the tight schedules most people complain about, as she does not want her grandchild to do the same. “When life seems so busy and you're rushing around,” she says in the clip, “you haven’t got enough time, listen to yourself.” She goes on to describe how people often convince themselves that they never have enough time. The grandmother explained that this common belief begins to feel real after being repeated over time.

“Because if you are, then it’s almost like you’re affirming that there isn’t enough,” Patricia says, encouraging her grandchild to change this perspective. “Work on the thought going through your head to something like, there is enough time. I can do this,” the caring grandma advised. She emphasized the transformative shift from feeling like there’s not enough time to believing there is enough, which can help calm a person in a rush.
