'Rich can also mean rich in mindset, principles, culture, health, happiness, and so much more...'
They say money can't buy happiness, and as we grow old, we realize its profundity. Money is necessary; in fact, it's fundamental to survival, but it doesn't guarantee happiness or fulfillment. Emphasizing the fact that a quality life isn't compulsorily dependent on wealth, 50 Cent, American rapper and actor, shared how people can have a 'richer' life than any rich guy, and it's something you must hear. The insightful video was shared on VSG Entertainment's (@vsgent) official Instagram page.

Talking to Brian J. Roberts, 50 Cent shared how some people know how to live better than others despite their monetary status. He said, "They just sort it out and pick a better person to share their time with, even if you sleep in a one-bedroom apartment. They may be richer than the rich guy." Adding on, the "Candy Shop" artist said it's important to prioritize how one feels internally rather than materialistic needs. 50 Cent's simple yet thought-provoking lines are enough to question whether we really need only money to live a happy, content, and fulfilling life. Well, researchers Daniel Kahneman and Angus Deaton found that happiness increases as there is a steady growth in income. However, once someone's annual income reaches $75,000, earning more doesn’t make them substantially happier on a day-to-day basis. This proves that once our necessities — food, clothing, and shelter — are accomplished, wealth no longer promises quality of life.
Despite this, most people today are trapped in a dead-end rat race, chasing materialistic things. They are so busy that they often compromise their time with family and friends, only to pursue something that always stays out of reach. @iamyuriyah commented, "This explains why rich people are sometimes envious of those with less and who have found inner peace." @musicbyambrosia said, "If we broaden our thinking, we understand that rich can also mean rich in mindset, principles, culture, health, and happiness, and so much more!" @smittymcfly wrote, "'Live good' is subjective, so it’s all about perspective. What’s considered good for some people is great for others and can also be terrible for others." Overwhelmed with 50 Cent's life-changing lines, @lorelacewell confessed, "I agree with 50; I’ve seen the richest poor people's spirit & the poorest rich people's spirit."
Similarly, @nuimira wrote, "A peace of mind and the ability to cultivate your joy are priceless." @_stackx_smacked wrote, "Huge fact, but all I need is a roof over my head, a nice car, and a baddie, and I'm the richest man in the world." @king.georgei commented, "Learn to make your happiness independent of the energy coming from others." Echoing the sentiments, @aspecialblackpearl shared, "I first learned this when I went to New Orleans as a kid. Folks had less, but all of their needs were met, and they lived full lives; I saw it again in Brazil, where folks had even lesser, and it finally changed me for the better."
