One of the tips was to paint his wife's nails if he wanted to become a good husband.

A marriage is a serious commitment, but sometimes, the best way to appreciate it is through a child's unfiltered wisdom. In a heartwarming clip shared by a mom named Ameerah—who goes by @mij.1995 on Instagram—her 5-year-old daughter, Amaya, offers her dad, Ali Tariq (@_alitxriq), a hilariously sweet take on what it means to be a good husband. The adorable exchange has quickly won over the internet.

“Daddy, I was thinking, are you a good husband?” Amaya asks Tariq as he folds laundry. Amused, he chuckles and responds, “Why were you thinking of that?” Without missing a beat, she explains, “Because I want my mummy to have a good husband.” Tariq takes a moment before answering, “Yes, I think I am a good husband, but you have to ask mummy.” But Amaya isn’t satisfied with just a yes or no—she wants numbers. “What would you give yourself out of ten?” she presses. Before he can answer, she confidently declares that she’d rate him “20 hundred.”

“I give myself a solid nine,” Tariq said, looking at his daughter. While he picked up a yellow garment to fold, he asked the young counselor what improvements he could make to be a better husband. She instantly replied that he should try “chatting to her.” She asserted that he “stop folding and start chatting to her.” She suggested that he chat with his wife about “rainbows and stuff.” The little one even shared some examples of topics he could use to chat with his wife. “Tell her that she has beautiful hair and a beautiful phone,” said Amaya.

Like a diligent student, Tariq promised to comply with her instructions and asked if there was anything he could do to be a good husband. “Paint her nails,” the girl told her. He paused for a moment and set down the blue garment he was folding. He turned towards Amaya, let out a hearty laugh, and said, “Who do you think I am?” But the tiny tot wasn’t done yet with her suggestions. “Take her to Disneyland. I’ll come too if you want,” she said to her dad.  In the comments section, @nazanin._.gn quipped, “The master plan to go to the Disneyland!”

Amaya’s not-so-serious advice attracted over a million views on the platform. Many jumped into the comment section with flurries of laughter emojis. While some joked about Amaya’s smart plan to pitch a Disneyland trip to her dad, others adored how a five-year-old threw in some brilliant relationship advice. “Are you guys sure she is just 5?” @officialnishaa_ asked. “She's either gonna be a councilor or a lawyer in the future,” said @hana_akhtar81. @jerrygrahamphotography added, “Politician in the making.” @freedaa_ called her the “Greatest saleswoman.”

@swissyelsie said, “She’s so sleek, casually throws in a Disneyland trip and offers to come too […] Smart Maya!” @theiaries commented, “She's a single child raising two adults.” @msnataliegov wrote, “This child is amazing. EQ and IQ off the charts.” @gospelcloset said, "She’s definitively one of your ancestors that came back. ‘Cos what is this?"
