Random acts of kindness never fail to put a smile on people's faces, especially when they're on the receiving end of one from a random stranger. When the initial shock of experiencing unconditional respect and appreciation from someone who wants nothing in return wears off, the unforgettable memory of the incident can leave you feeling warm and loved whenever it pops back into your head. Creative and radio host Maggie Fischer recently experienced one such unexpected act of kindness and was so surprised and moved by it that she took to Twitter to share her astonishment.

Fischer revealed in the now-viral tweet that a guy approached her while she was writing in her journal alone, got her some whiskey, told her he respects her vibe and just left without bothering her. The unprompted act of kindness struck a chord with many on Twitter, racking up nearly 350,000 likes with a more than 14,600 retweets. It also inspired many to share similar acts of kindness they'd experienced or witnessed around them and Fischer's tweet soon became one of the most wholesome Twitter threads in the internet's history.
