Be it complimenting a stranger on her outfit or coming to her rescue when she's cornered by creeps, women supporting women is hands-down one of the most badass things ever.

People have been pitting women against each other pretty much since the beginning of time. By stereotyping women as jealous and spiteful, they've tried to establish that women are incapable of co-existing in peace or being happy for each other's wins and accomplishments. The joke, however, is on them as this sexist narrative simply makes instances of women supporting each other all the more empowering. Be it something as simple as complimenting someone's outfit despite never having met her before or coming to a stranger's rescue when she's cornered by creepy men, women having each other's back is hands-down one of the most badass things ever.
Over the years, many have taken to Twitter to share heartwarming stories of women raising each other up. Here are some of our favorites:
A man plainly followed me onto my bus. Woman came to sit by me & asked if I knew he was following me. She offered to get off at my stop w me

This is what #girlssupportinggirls looks like. My 7-yo daughter admires a teenaged girl in our neighborhood, always excited when she waves at her. Last night she left her this book and note on our doorstep. pic.twitter.com/YCphGDUm8I
