Whoever handles the agency's social media knows that putting out informative posts with a comical touch can turn heads.
There is a common misconception that government organizations are not very creative and appealing with their social media handle. Maybe it is because people are not so keen on following federal agencies as much as they love to know about celebrities and influencers. They mainly seek entertainment and titbits from social media, which is not something that can be expected from the government. But little do they know that times have changed and federal agencies too understand the need to be fun. Though it is true in many cases where agencies are focused on being plainly informative and conventional, some try to hop on to the trends of social media, making their page quite engaging. From posting exciting videos, pictures or memes to adding hysterical captions, the government knows better than to be dull and boring on social media.
One such example is the X page of the National Park Service, a federal agency in the U.S. Department of the Interior. This agency is focused on conserving special locations like national parks, national monuments and other historical properties and helping everyone experience the country's heritage. Their objective may be serious, but their social media is not. The agency probably has one of the best social media experts handling their X page because their posts on the platform are quite rib-tickling. Here are 25 hilarious posts from the page that are sure to brighten up your day.
