'We aren't guaranteeing professional works of art here, but they sure will be priceless,' the shelter wrote.
Animals have become an essential part of many of our lives, especially for the ones who have pets. These animals spend most of their time with us, give us affection and are also emotionally attached to us. They also try to communicate with us in their own ways. Each of them is still different and has its own personality. Some love walks, some like sleeping, some love meeting friends and some don't. Still, they are loved and cherished by their owners.
However, not all animals are privileged to find homes and end up in shelters. Some considerate people make sure they are loved and taken care of in shelters. Rescue centers have to find ways to keep these shelters running and one such shelter, Coulee Region Humane Society in Onalaska, had an innovative way to raise funds. They announced, '(Poorly) Drawn Pets Fundraiser' in which they ask people to donate $20 and their volunteers and staff will draw a picture of the donor's pet. "We aren't guaranteeing professional works of art here, but they sure will be priceless," the shelter wrote on Facebook.
