From being reincarnated and seeing ghosts to celestial bodies and seeing into the future, these kids have creeped their parents out with things they said.

Kids have an innocence that lets their imagination run wild without limiting their thoughts to the ways of the world. This often results in the goofiest of situations and them uttering funny lines. But have you ever heard a kid say something really dark that made you do a double-take? If you have, well, you're not alone. A Twitter user asked, "People who interact with kids, what is the single weirdest/creepiest thing a kid has ever said to you?"
People who interact with kids, what is the single weirdest/creepiest thing a kid has ever said to you? It's Saturday night so why not creep yourself out? pic.twitter.com/6pK92nOkmG

The responses to the thread ranged from downright creepy to horrifyingly scary, and some of them will really make you want to believe in supernatural elements and ghosts. Here are some of the best responses that we came across:
I was hiking alone in the woods with my son who was 7. It was eerie quiet. Out of nowhere he says “The woods demand a sacrifice.”

I had just bought my kid a white stuffed bunny. His response "when I was your dad I got you one just like this, then you didn't see me anymore." He's named after my dad, who I didn't see for 12 years after he gave me the bunny (we talked when I was 14, he died the next year).

Daughter was 7 she woke me up crying. I go check on her & her had is stretched out in front of her like someone's leading her. All the while she's crying "no, no I don't want to go. I don't wanna go to the basement." We lived in an apt, bottom floor. One of many experiences

Babysitting that ended with backyard marshmallow roast. One kid didn't want to get the near the fire. I asked if it scared him, "Yeah the bad man set a fire that burned me and my mom and then I woke up here." Uh....

Nine-year-old daughter to me after touring an open house (older home): "we can't live there."
— Monique 🌲🏔🌲 (@bluebelletrist) January 28, 2018
Me: Why?
Her: People died there.
Me: Well, in older homes that sometimes happens...
Her: They're still there.
Me: 😱😱😱
This was my first.

At the store. We'd had a nice day, picnic at the park.
Suddenly, he grabs my hand, squeezes REAL HARD and says, "Mama when you die, I'm gonna make a little-you so I can keep you always. Like with your skin, and eyes, but probly not your insides." All smiles.
In the dark, my 2 year old points at the corner of the room.

"Look at the baby crying", she says to me.
There is no baby.
😱
A friend jokingly says of her 4 y/o daughter in the other room: "Imma wake up to that one tryna kill me in my sleep"

Daughter comes over, mature concern on her face: "Mommy why would you say that?"
"Oh no hunny I was just jo---"
"You wouldn't feel a thing. it would be so fast"
And this 5yo old little psycho gave her turn by turn directions for close to 45 minutes. We ended up 4-5 towns away at a dead end street with an abandoned blue house.

5yo: I can't sleep. When I close my eyes is when the shadows come.
— Courtney (@WordyRamblings) January 28, 2018
Me: you mean the dark?
5yo: No. The SHADOWS. They're always there. When you blink the darkness is the shadows and you know they are never really gone.
When I was 6, my parents picked me up early from school one day with no explanation. As we were walking to the car, I said “Did grandpa die?”

They both looked at each other, then looked at me, and my dad says “yes... how did you know that?”
I travel for work a lot. My son likes to see my hotel room via FaceTime. One night when he was 4 he asks me ‘who is the little boy in your room, mommy?’ I asked him what he meant. He said there was a little boy standing right behind me.

Woke up in the dead of night, in total darkness. Thought someone had called for me, but all was quiet. Didn’t notice that my 3 yr old had crept in and was standing directly beside my bed until he whispered into my ear “I used to have a train-set when I was a grandpa.” 😳 🚂 👻

My daughter was about 5 when she says you’re the best mommy I ever had. I said I’m the only mommy you’ve ever had. She looks at me and says no your the 3rd one but I like you the best😳

When my nephew was 2 he went around offering to share a drink from his bottle with everyone, and then he offered it to an empty corner of the room.

It’s not as creepy as the rest of these, but I was babysitting for my mom’s coworker (6-7). He was playing some video game when he got up and somehow locked us in the basement. Standing in front of the door he slowly turned to me and said “now you’re stuck with us” pic.twitter.com/dr5LND3RRD

My wife has twin cousins and one day, driving past a community college building when the twins were 5, one of them points to it and says “Hey, there’s the place where I died before I became a twin!” Apparently, the building had been a hospital once upon a time. O_o

My son, at five years old:
— Kevin M. Kruse (@KevinMKruse) January 28, 2018
"Daddy, I'm gonna eat you up."
"Awwww...."
"Yeah, I'm gonna cut you into little pieces."
"...."
I was at an amusement park when a random kid said, “people taste better when they squirm,” to his parents but looking at me. Needless to say, I left.

Trick-or-treater introduced himself to us. When we told him our names he said “I already know your names. You were in my dream last night.”

One day I picked her up & she was crying hysterically, she was not a kid who cried like that, ever. She said they’d stopped her going to that part of the nursery garden, I don’t know why, some unsafe wall or something. She never saw him again.
