The Winter games were held in Beijing for two weeks and some of the events and actions of the athletes had people in splits.
The Winter Olympics held in Beijing was an emphatic success and came to a close on February 20 after two grueling weeks. A total of 91 nations participated in the games, vying for medals. The 2022 Winter Olympics also debuted seven new events this time around. It was Norway who bagged the most accolades with 37 medals, including 16 gold medals. The Winter Olympics is not as mainstream as the summer Olympics and involves many events that may seem weird, strange and out-of-place to those not familiar with the games themselves. With the Winter Olympics capturing the imagination of the public, many were intrigued by the events and the drama that unfolded over the course of the two weeks. And, it also threw up a fair few jokes.
For many, it was the memes and jokes that drew them to the Winter Olympics and they weren't disappointed. Here are some of the top jokes that we came across online:

There is a lot of overlap between "music that is good for figure skating" and "music that is good for when a person is dying on Grey's Anatomy"

I love all the Winter Olympic events, sliding downhill on a piece of wood, sliding downhill on 2 pieces of wood, sliding downhill IN a piece of wood. All amazing.

summer olympics is “don’t swim too fast because you still have a run and a bike ride after this and you need to save your energy”, while the winter olympics is “you just skied 5km, now here’s your gun”.
