We might have improved in certain fields but sometimes, we accept that the generations before us were cooler than us in some aspects.
It is not new for people to think that they are cooler than the generation that came before them. They also consider themselves wiser comparatively. It is true for all generations. But yet, sometimes we accept that the generations before us were cooler than us in some aspects. One person on Twitter @profbobadilla asked others, “What makes you go, ‘I’m with the boomers on this one’?” It is an interesting question and the answers that followed are amazing and insightful.
From printouts of photos to having a proper sleep schedule to early dinners and plastic straws, people were nostalgic for more peaceful times. Some even mentioned how earlier they did not talk to a "robot" when they called customer service and that there was a more direct human conversation and less involvement of technology. Others missed a time when people were not glued to their phones. They also missed a time when kids were not glued to video games and actually went out to play in the park. We have thus selected 20 of the best things that boomers got right, as per the younger generations. Have fun!

Being glued to your phone, no matter what we are doing drives me insane. When I am with someone I put in a lot of effort to be fun and a good conversationalist. It gets frustrating having my biggest pet peeve consistently ignored. The internet can wait, it's not going anywhere.

In general it is actually better to buy older things and fix them bc they will last you longer than even buying a newer version of a product brand new.

No Twitter, you don't need my phone number.
Had a phone break a few months ago, and couldn't do that most basic shit cuz half the services we use are tied to our phones for no fuckin reason.
Honoring plans that you make. Like I get it, sometimes you need to cancel on someone for your own well being, but I’ve also seen so many “thirty people rsvp’d to my party and only two showed up” to think that all of the cancellations are fair.

People should be able to graduate from high school and get a secure union job with a pension, and they should be able to buy a home with their normal job money.
