Leave your phone unlocked and there's always someone around to prank you. A Texas mother got the surprise of her life when a DoorDash delivery landed at her doorstep. Though Kelsey Golden hadn't ordered anything, she was handed a giant McDonald's bag containing 31 cheeseburgers. It hit her that her 2-year-old son, Barrett—who loves to play with her phone—may have accidentally ordered the cheeseburgers. Kelsey Golden was at home busy working on the school's annual yearbook on her computer and she recalled Barrett "yanking" on her phone while she was transferring photos from her phone to her computer, reported CNN.

Her son didn't know how to use the phone but used it as a toy and often loved to play with the phone camera. "He likes to look at his reflection," she said, before adding that he didn't really play any games or open other apps on her phone. This time Barrett wasn't looking at his reflection as he usually did but was seen running his fingers on the screen. "He starts pressing the screen, swinging it around like his arm is a roller coaster," she recalled. She didn't think much of it and let him play as she continued with her work.

Golden was a little amused when she received a notification that said her DoorDash order was taking longer than usual because it was a big order. Sometimes, she ordered her two older children's lunches at school through DoorDash, but that morning she had packed them their lunches. If she wasn't already confused, a work colleague told Golden that her children were indeed eating their packed lunches at school. "Right as she said that, I was outside playing with Barrett on the porch," she said. "A car pulls in and I was like, 'what'? so I went over to it, and she gets out a giant McDonald's bag and is like '31 cheeseburgers?'"

Golden was still confused and assumed the delivery driver had come to the wrong home. "Then it dawned on me that Barrett was playing with my phone," she said before rushing back into the home to check her phone and there it was. An order was placed at the same time he was playing with her phone. "I thought, oh my gosh, he really did this." Turned out Barrett was also a huge ally of delivery workers, having left a "really generous" 25% tip with the total coming to $91.70.

Golden also wondered how he selected cheeseburgers when it wasn't a default order. She said the accidental order was out of place because "no one in our family likes cheeseburgers." She then took to Facebook offering free cheeseburgers and it "kind of blew up from there," she said. "One woman came by, she was pregnant and wanted six of them," she said. "No judgment." She gave some of them to her neighbors. The Facebook post led to Golden and Barrett getting invited to a meet-up with McDonald's staff. Barrett posed with company mascots for pictures and also enjoyed some chicken nuggets. While Golden may be more careful with her phone from now on, she's hoping her son's antics made people smile. "I hope it spreads a little humor in a sad dark world," she said.

People just couldn't get enough of the amazing story. "Once again, thank you for providing me with the greatest thing I’ve seen like, all month long. This is absolute hilarity and awesomeness," wrote Carla. "Girl I have had to add the double click and facial recognition to my DoorDash because of the same issue," wrote Kathryn. Golden replied, "I’m still trying to figure out how to put that option on lol."
