Words of encouragement from near and dear ones can make a person really happy. Especially, if these things come at an unexpected moment. A mom got a letter from her 11-year-old daughter who wrote words of encouragement for her in a beautiful way and expressed how much she means to her in that letter. The mom, u/OdysseyPop, was touched and shared her daughter's letter with the internet and people online expressed their awe over the thoughtful gesture by the girl.

"Dear mom, If I could give you one thing in life I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes," the girl wrote in the letter. "Only then you would be able to know how special you are," the daughter added and drew a little smiley face at the end of the line. "Thank you for the love and support," she expressed with a little heart. "You go through so much but never show it." The girl hoped that she had shown her appreciation for her mom all her life. "I hope I have told you this over the last 11 years but even if I didn't, I love you the way you are," she concluded.

She also pointed out that she was someone who needed her mom the most. "From the person that needs you the most. Love, Sierra," she signed off. "This is a letter my 11-year-old daughter wrote me a few days ago. I’m so lucky," the mom captioned the post with a photo of the letter. Many people took to the comments section of the post to express their awe over the girl's thoughtfulness and to appreciate her emotional quotient for writing such a beautiful letter for her mom.

u/Practical-Witness796 wrote, "That is an incredibly high EQ letter. I’ve seen plenty of letters from kids to their parents saying they love them, but this is so incredible for the age of 11. Validating your struggles, showing empathy, appreciation, making you feel seen. Just wow. This child will become an incredible human being and if they can develop internal boundaries then they’d make a great therapist." u/changlingmagoo pointed out, "What a tender-hearted child. I'm lucky to have one too. Keep those notes close. You will need them on tough days. Absolutely beautiful. I would cherish this letter forever and my daughter."

u/crockpotloser19 remarked, "She means it!!! I wish I could still tell my mom this now as someone who is 30 years old! I lost her to cancer 4 years ago." Another user commented, "Pretty clear sign you are a great mother. You are both incredibly lucky to have each other." u/babsfleck expressed, "What a wonderful letter to get from your daughter. Almost sounds like she's begging you to stay around. But she sees that you are carrying a heavy load and not taking care of yourself. Are you depressed? If you are, she's crying out for you to get better. This is your sign to get help if you need it." The woman however clarified that she was doing fine. In a comment, she wrote, "She asked if I thought I was a good mother. I said some days I do and other days I need to do better."
