103-year-old has most heart-melting reunion with the love of his life who was hospitalized

Love is meant to stand by and support each other for a lifetime. Couples vow to do the same when they commit themselves to each other. Even at an old age, when health and other problems arise, many aged couples hold on to each other through thick and thin. Their undying love becomes an example to many, especially to the younger generation. @enfermeraestilosa shared a video on Instagram with the most tear-jerking reunion of their grandparents. The 103–year–old grandfather was reunited with his wife at a hospital just in time for Christmas.

"My 103-year-old grandfather received the love of his life like this after a month in hospital where we thought she was leaving forever," the caption read. The grandfather arrived in the room with his walker and even at an old age where moving is painful, he let out the biggest, purest smile. At old age, even a day is crucial and this couple had spent a month away from each other, not knowing whether the other would see tomorrow. When they reunited, the grandpa couldn't help but let out tears of joy and relief. He immediately left his walker and his energy gave away the fact that he couldn't wait to meet her.

Although his body was shaky and slow due to age, he tried to walk up to his partner on his own to caress and hold her. With other family members by their side to help them out, nothing could stop the two from coming together. His facial expressions were too wholesome and over everything else, he was happy to see his partner waiting for him. As soon as he managed to reach closer, the camera captured the tearful smile the grandmother gave as she waited in bed patiently for her partner to come to her. Their wrinkled smiles on meeting spoke volumes of their love.

As soon as they came close to each other, they gently held each other's hands and the grandpa whispered something into his partner's ears, causing her to smile further. He then held her and kissed her forehead with nothing but gratitude and love. As the video captured the duo excitedly conversing to catch up, the caption shared a heartfelt reminder, "How sad that things have to happen to us to realize that the lottery hits us every day with health, with family and with the love of the people close to us."

As the video concluded, along with the family members, everyone couldn't help but bawl their eyes out, wishing them the merriest Christmas.
