10-year-old boy sells his toys on a 'freezing cold' day to buy his hard-working mom Christmas gifts

Christmas typically involves parents giving their children meaningful gifts as a way to showcase their love. But, in this viral video, the roles have been reversed, as a boy is trying to get perfect presents for his hard-working mother to reflect his adoration and respect. Having no funds to get the gift, the boy resorts to selling all of his toys. Fortunately, he comes across a generous person named Ryan Tricks (@ryantricksmagic), who, like an angel, fulfills all his wishes and gives him double the amount he was expecting. 

According to Performing Artistes, Ryan Tricks is a television personality known for his magic skills, with which he has amassed a huge following on the internet. The video shows him recording from his car and coming across a boy with the sign "Toys for Sale for Mum's Christmas Present." The child explained that he was selling toys, which he no longer needed to buy his mother "Christmas presents." The reason he gave will melt anyone's heart. He explained how his mother "does a lot for" him and works on weekends to give him a great Christmas present. So, he wanted to do something in return. Tricks pointed out that it was "freezing cold" out there, but the boy sweetly stated, "I wanted to do it because she's the best."

Tricks was touched by the boy's efforts and decided to help him in his honorable pursuit. He began to ask the price of all the toys. It was evident that the boy was a bit naive, quoting as low as £10 ($12.10) for toys in perfect condition. As the conversation went on, Tricks became more impressed and, in the spirit of Christmas, said, "I wanna buy all of these toys off you." The boy denied him at first as he was overwhelmed with the favor, but Tricks eventually convinced him, sharing how touched he was by the boy's heart.

Tricks then asked the boy how much he would charge for all the toys. The boy decided £50 ($60) for all the toys, which was again a very low price, considering the immaculate condition of the toys on display. Tricks again helped him and offered £100 ($121) for all the toys. Not only that, but he then added another £100 ($121) as a Christmas gift for the boy. Cue the tears. The boy initially declined the offer of taking extra money but eventually gave in. He was very thankful and hugged Tricks out of gratitude. They then began to load all the toys in Tricks' car. 

A lot of people lauded Tricks but for those who criticized him for taking the toys, he provided an update in the comment section that he let the kid keep all of them. It was truly a Christmas miracle for the boy.

This story of human compassion was adored by people on the platform and it garnered 21.7K likes. @fatesshadow pointed out how such actions keep humanity alive and commented, "Acts of kindness like this is what keeps me hopeful for humanity." @mariallynch67 appreciated Tricks' work and wrote, "Amazing, well done to Ryan and this little dude."
